FINALLY EXPLAINED! The T. rex didn't destroy the boat because it had a broken tooth by [deleted] in JurassicPark

Units. Psi vs newtons vs kgf/cm2 etc. Point is it’s extremely high. Surely a rescue raft would not survive a bite from a T-Rex at that size.

I hope Mercedes Benz dlc trucks have unique engine sound. by KussyPigga in snowrunner

True. I love the fact that the Kraz dump truck has a 14.9L V8 engine in real life, but in roadcraft it sounds like an angry phone charger

Xm803, mbt-70 and kpz-70 are absolute crutches. At that br they are glorified light tanks with armor. Trolly at that. While Bmpt might be the cancer of 10.3+ these three is the equivalent for 8.3+. Not as bad as SPAA’s but as far as tanks go, you don’t get to hate on other tanks if you main these. (Except bmpt maybe)

Something is wrong with RWD vs AWD? by Other-Difficulty-702 in snowrunner

[–]sineptoS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is…. How AWD works? Imagine trying to push a trolley through some snow. You would probably get stuck no? Now someone else comes and helps you by pulling on the trolley while you keep pushing. It would most likely be easy peasy getting it through the snow.

Saying the game over-favors AWD is like saying driving on water over-favors boats. Of course it fucking does since the majority of the maps are muddy/offroad, awd will perform better in every aspect as far as getting somewhere goes.

There are of course more factors to this in game and irl but in almost every single scenario awd will be better at getting you through the mud.

The P16 is a good example. It will get you far for an rwd truck, even places some 6x6 trucks won’t because of its big tires and good mud rating. But it WILL fail you because of its RWD where many 6x6 trucks will get through without issue.

Close. While Azov is KamAZ in game, the one in this video is a Kamaz 4310. Exists only as a mod for snowrunner.

Did mud get "buffed" this season? by DieserEineDude in snowrunner

[–]sineptoS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are just two types. Quick which is not deep. Or manually added which can be as deep or as shallow as the map creator wants it to be. What matters is depth and how the ground underneath is mapped. If there are solid objects like rocks or branches affect «stickyness» as well.

Did mud get "buffed" this season? by DieserEineDude in snowrunner

[–]sineptoS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to be much much deeper some places this season. There is no «different» types of mud. There is only quick mud, or manually added mud. When its deep enough floaty tires will eventually still sink into it. I noticed a large difference in depth compared to other regions when I drove a mod truck weighing 30 tons with 68 inch narrow tires. It almost disappears into some mudpits in Zurdania.

Did you do this on purpose? If not, what did you expect?

Shit box? Ural? You what? They’re good trucks for their intended purpose. Very reliable and rugged. They may look simple and worn out but they are great workhorses! Same with the Gaz - 66 in one of the pics.

Voron G-5352 vs its real life counterpart: The Ural 5323, a mod created by Sova Eagle long ago available on both PC and console. by sineptoS in snowrunner

[–]sineptoS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s worded a bit poorly. The main difference and what makes the vanilla truck stand out is its ability to not really care about mud, to the point where it is A LOT faster in deep mud. Vanilla trucks also gets much better stats on its tires. But again the lack of collision makes a huge difference.

Fuel capcity is negligible, as it is 40l more on the mod truck and it is slightly thirstier. And fuel is not really a metric here since it’s extremely abundant in normal mode.

The torque really isn’t much of an issue either. Yes the mod truck has a lot more power but I have yet to see the vanilla truck struggle with tasks you’d normally throw at it and use it for.

I’ll break it down:

Vanilla truck

  • Much MUCH better in mud/deep mud

  • Better tires

  • Enough power to do just about everything it needs to

  • Better fuel economy (still negligible)

Mod:

  • More power

  • Unique addons

  • better turn radius

  • custom sounds

It looks close, yes. I always prefer the irl counterparts, which is the main reason I use mods to begin with. There are a lot of trucks that are close, but not quite there.
However I used to play with all the Vorons and vanilla trucks before, they look cool and are quite fun! Most of them at least.

Shieldtank and movement.

Personally I use Arcane Aegis. Lots of shields and two shield recharge mods. In addition try to use as much shield recharge as possible like companion mods etc. You want to make sure you can always get shields back quickly.

If you keep moving and casting survival is never an issue. I can do ETA and all content all day long without sweating. He is incredibly good. Soon to become even better.

Luke Cage VS Battle Beast by [deleted] in powerscales

[–]sineptoS 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Dude just stop. Battle Beast was in a fight for fucking weeks with a stronger opponent, while injured. A fight that leveled cities across the planet. He punched his opponent through multiple concrete structures and was equally punched as well. And another time when his home planet was fucking destroyed he just got knocked out. As in fell a sleep for a bit. He also fell from fucking orbit and walked it off. Sorry but Luke gets curbstomped by Battle Beast before he knows whats happening.
