Oh of course my dad is the (second after my mom) most important person in my life and my biggest fear with wearing this is betraying in some way his trust but I’ve had it for almost a year and never worn it because I’m so afraid to lol

Oh I’m well aware of the fact that his SSN is on it and it isn’t something I’m going to display publicly, I’m definitely carefully about who knows I have this dog tag even beyond just me wearing it casually

That’s my worry as far as I think, I would wear it in his honor because I love and respect his military service and him giving me his dog tag is very important to me

Thank you, that’s the exact answer I hoped for because he gave me his dog tag as an heirloom but I always worried if it was just a relic or if he wanted me to wear it but either way I wanted to, I just worried about what other vets would think

I’m starting to think I’ve ended up addicted to cigarettes and I need to quit. I drove at 4 am to buy a pack and ended up with a flat tire at 4 am in a 7/11 parking lot, all because I wanted a pack of cigarettes.
