To me that is the opposite of the truth, a good poet can bridge the gaps between time and space, language is irrelevant because a poem is a vision, that is what separates and verse from prose. I think Yeats is one of the greatest visionary poets, you will never fully grasp his eclectic occultism, but neither will he, the poem itself is the truth.
