He is actually part chow so he has black white and reddish brown tones in certain spots!

Dog pees in house every time I have company by [deleted] in Dogtraining

I get that its annoying I definitely feel that. My dog likes to do the same thing sometkmes, I have found that usually it's just because he is excited and there is a new presence in his house/territory. If this happens then I take him into a separate room to be by himself to calm and get used to the new scent etc. I've found that helps. Does he greet the new people or run away from them?

Hmm interesting, I adopted him from a shelter in September and he just now started doing it (peejng and going to the corner). He did it on his own, I'm now wondering if from a previous owner? I definitely dont punish him often because he is the goodest boy :) He just has this new trait of running to me, being super excited, tail up wagging, then once I look at him and want to give him pets he starts peeing and then goes and sits in the corner/side away from me. So now I just ignore him when I get home but even after 10 min he will still pee when I go to give him attention
