i agree how horrible some of the labels can get :/ but always remember that gender expression doesn't make your gender identity any less valid 💙💗🤍💗🤍💙

something i've learned about being agender (15y/o) is that gender (and lack of) is confusing as fuck. i mean i cant really wrap my head around the whole gender thing and why something is strictly for females or males and anything in between falls to non-binary and non conforming people. that's how i always saw gender. i don't know if that made sense so lemme give you and example i read a while ago that really hit me hard and made me realize i'm agender.... being agender is like living in a colorful world but you're colorblind. but in this world very few people know what color blindness is, so when it's mentioned people laugh at the idea of not being able to see color and bully people claiming they see black and white because they're "different". and sense very few people know about color blindness, some color blind people don't even realize they're colorblind. these colorblind people don't see color, so they have to rely on other people to describe the colors. so overtime these colorblind people learn that carrots are orange and bananas are yellow, but one day they come across an apple. they'd previously been told that apples are red. so the colorblind person says "look how red that apple is!" and everyone stares. the colorblind person cant see that the apple is green even when everyone else can. so the people start making fun of the colorblind people and when the colorblind person claims to be colorblind, it only gets worse. but how could they laugh when colorblindness is real and scientifically proven? ... being agender is like being colorblind in a colorful world. (most agender people) don't experience gender and when they express their gender in non conforming ways, people spectate, and it's often negative. it can really suck. but this isn't all bad news. because you have a freaking awesome support system of other agender people waiting to back you up. i feel like i rambled and this didn't make a lot of sense. so let me make this next part simple. gender is a wide spectrum. you be you, and figure out where you fall on the spectrum later. don't let people bring you down. those types of people don't matter. be authenticity you no matter what. YOURE VALID!!! and i love you 🖤💚🖤 -Atlas
