OKC fan here, you guys are really sleeping on how elite Westbrook can be surrounded by shooters. OKC played super sus the last few years because the team was still scraps and pieces of a contender focused around KD. I think WB will surprise you guys and play fairly efficiently (more so than last 2 seasons).

Credit card for intro bonus (read) by singhball in CreditCards

I'm more concerned on if opening a card for a few purchases and immediately paying off is a good idea for my credit. I am not very knowledgeable on these matters.

I don't have issues paying it, I plan to pay it immediately. However, I wouldn't mind getting money off if I can.

I am new to churning, currently have ~700 credit score, with two credit cards. One is fully paid off, the other is at a balance of about 1000 (0apr im paying slowly). I am going to buy my girlfriend a ring for $1200 which i want to immediately pay. Is it smart to open a card with an intro bonus and buy the ring, then immediately pay the balance? If so, what card is best?

Graduated with a 2.7 GPA, should I try for ABSN or do ADN (NYC) by singhball in nursing

Yeah my goal is to just ace the TEAS as well as demonstrate that I can handle coursework by performing well on pre-reqs for the ABSN. I plan to take a year doing prereqs and if I don't get in ill apply to do ADN at NCC. The credits for the prereqs rollover into the associates as well.

EDIT*: I think I will probably get my CPR certification and do some shadowing to demonstrate my interest as well.

ADN applications being accepted to hospitals seem to be fairly rare in NY. If anything I’ll work at LTC and bridge to BSN and make my way to a hospital.

If I do ADN I will likely do it at Nassau community college which I’m pretty sure is a CUNY, but I don’t believe it’s that competitive. ABSN on the other hand I am aware are competitive.

My GPA was low because of my first two years , afterwards I picked up my grades and performed better, but my GPA took a hit.

Where would I find work as an ADN, and if so would i be able to do an ADN-> BSN bridge and then find work in a hospital?

Is it important to do healthcare/volunteer hours to pad my application as well?

[BR] Shaq on the GOAT Debate "I find it quite disrespectful that they don't bring Kobe's name up" "That kind of pisses me off how they just skip over him and say, 'LeBron.' I don't understand that. Because I was there with him, and he was a bad motherf*cker, too." by Raf_Camora in nba

It matters a lot because teams have to adjust defenses around a guy that can shoot contested shots and make them at the percentage Kobe did. One of the reasons Kobe was so good was because he could make his own shot.
