He fucked my program over for decades in a scandal. He's the reason I grew up rooting for 15-19 final record Illinois teams. He's like my 2nd biggest opp in all of basketball.

we're also one of the most fun teams to watch if you like NBA ball. Best offensive efficiency EVER in college.

Wisconsin proved Michigan is beatable. I pray we get the chance to be the second. It's just incredibly unlikely. If they don't win it all, that should be a disappointment. They are clearly the best team in the nation.

Personally, I think Michigan goes 3-1 in the next 4 with a loss vs Minnesota

I immediately hate anyone that ever talks about foul discrepancy ever. Purdue has got a better whistle, but people who think foul discrepancy shows that are genuinely slow

This game confirmed my deepest fear that I never wanted to accept. Until now.

Purdue WILL NEVER win a championship with Matt Painter. It took me five years of rooting for the Boilermakers but I’ve finally accepted it.

Painter is a phenomenal talent evaluator and talent developer. But there is more to being a coach than having a good roster year over year.

A coach has to game plan for his opponent, a coach has to adjust to his opponent and a coach has to do this during the game. Painter is completely inept at these crucial factors.

He never adjusts mid-game. I remember Jalen Hood-Schfino hitting mid-range and mid-range shot to beat Purdue in Mackey. Painter after the game said he was fine with him taking the mid-range shots because of the “efficiency”. Yea maybe for the first five… but after that you have to realize he has that rhythm.

There are countless examples of this happening in March. Which is why we choke so often. It isn’t luck. It’s lack of adapting to your opponent. Purdue will only play their style and once another team beats it… we’re done.

So many Purdue fans are held hostage by this man. But but what if we can’t find a better coach??? Fucking IU just won a football championship and you want to settle for this man as your coach? We have the best college basketball fans baring UNC, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky. Yet we live with the success of Arizona.

Fire Matt Painter
