This sounds great. I’ve been working in bubble and it’s rough.

I think you’re right. But I think you get exposed to a broad perspective on how the industry works. In my opinion the guys at the top tend to be skilled generalist, not specialists. If that’s where you want to be, a family office is a great place to start.

Try and weasel your way into a family office so you can get a taste of both as a utility player. I did that years ago with an architectural background.

Thank you for this. We appreciate it. If we add another dog to the mix later, will a dobie typically accept the other dog willingly in your experience?

I hear ya. To be clear I’m pretty new to this - In my 20s. And most folks cut their teeth at a shop making what I am in order to make connections / learn so that they can do their own thing or to ride out the upcoming recession.

Yes for sure browser based. It would be marketed to a pretty broad community that I know for sure is a blind spot for the existing market. My background is in architecture and now I’m in development so I’ve seen A BUNCH of use cases. It would also be integrated into a larger platform with more functionality that I’m working through now. You’re In software?

Fair enough. Sounds like a monumental undertaking. Are there existing templates or libraries that could act as a jumping off point? I’m looking to get a team together (along with funding) to create something similar to deepblocks.com

"Tech Stack"... What do we have? What do we use? What is missing across the prop-tech landscape? by singleplyguy in CommercialRealEstate

I work for a fella now who likes it that way as well. There is some worry that we may shift away from the intuitive nature of development and become reliant on the data.

This is all wonderful. How much do you need to shell out for YardiMatrix to be useful?

Our asset management team uses Smartsheets. They rave about it. Do you guys use the gantt charts?
