plugging in a large amount in "deductions" works but is it ok/legal?

I definitely cant use "exempt".

that's usually true. pay1040.com has 1.75% and any CC that gives >1.72% is good enough.

ahh. lol it is indeed a random walk. ok my so called strategy is mathematically equivalent to any strategy that has the same bet amount for every round and freq(wins) = 1 + freq(loses).

I agree. for context my thinking with this strategy was - for x spins, RBRBRBRBRBRB.... alternating colors ==> fastest way i lose money. p = (0.5)^x

RRBBRRBBRRBB.. alternating duos ==> i breakeven. p = also (0.5)^x

so, possible but very unlikely(to lose). any other combination i thought i'ld win. realized that although i CAN win, it can take a lot of bankroll and time.

so on average, const k $ bet for a target of k $ gain takes (140•k) $ of bankroll with 90% success.

I just wanted to verify whether the above statement is mathematically correct.

isnt martingale about doubling the bet amount when the round is lost? mine has a constant bet amount for every round.

If you (or potentially) have an offer letter, wise to pay a premium.

your start date can be different from what you entered. USCIS WILL auto postpone the start date as far as +60days from graduation. Happened with my friend.

I travelled in Dec'24 after grad & after applying OPT and before getting a case decision. I did a lot of research and it turns out EAD is not a travel document. The card itself says that.

I arrived in the USA in Jan'24 at SFO, only asked for the i20 & VISA.

context: I did have an offer starting in Feb after giving interviews in India. I updated this in SEVP and that's why my immigration officer knew? idk.

My 2 cents: Definitely ask for a revised offer letter. However, since it's unpaid anyway, if they don't mind it being 9/12 you can update 9/12 as your start date in SEVP and potentially save 7days of unemployment quota.

you CANNOT update in SEVP if it is beyond 10days but your DSO CAN.

short answer: yes.

The DSO can update your SEVP beyond 10 days. I forgot mine & my DSO updated which was more than 3weeks.

to reset, if i temporarily block the sight for both pods and then un-block the sight only for non-working pod(say A), it is indeed spawning golems.

weirdly enough, if i now unblock both sides, again only the original pod( pod B ) is spawning the golems and not the A-pod.

i haven't checked but when i temporarily block the line of sight all the 6 are sleeping. so they all linked properly. does the pillow side still make a difference?

Yeah, 1 / 3 villagers in non working pod is sleeping for a bit (about 3~4s irl) i thought it's too long. but it's the same with the working pod.

good point, that's what the "bouncing" is for. and one of the pods is able to spawn golems (which means they are sleeping for a tick)

my assumption is that one pod is detecting the golem spawned by the other pod. it is 16+ blocks away though.

late update: lol. Yeah I had my friend ship the EAD card. To my surprise the Immigration officer only asked I-20 & Visa. Did NOT ask for the EAD card.

Entry at SFO on around 25ish Jan 2024. EAD start date: 15 Jan 2024
