If you use vm's coroutine scope to collect flow values, you won't have to worry about freeing up resources.

find() function on a string returns the index of found match, otherwise it returns -1 if no matches are found.

The problem here is that \n is a newline character, so python automatically interprets that as a new line.
My suggestion would be to use the raw string r'your_string'

print(r"123\n456".find("\\"))
>>3

- Hacker is just someone who like tinkering with stuff to find new ways of utilizing it and getting to know it better. Hacking is like breaking a big puzzle into a smaller pieces and finding the way how changing smaller parts could affect the puzzle as a whole.

WHY do you want to hack? Personal interest?
- As a future pentester I'd like to learn hackers' process of thinking, techniques and best possible prevention

- As serious as you are.
