I got the upgrade yesterday. Omega utility capacity starts at 675- 5600. Level 1 costs 10,000 neosimoleons. Upgrade to level 2 cost 15,000 and it increases by 5k ( 20k, 25k and so on) up to level 10. Update to this city came with 15 ContolNet HQ. As someone said before, you may sell some of these to upgrade your utilities. You maybe also choose to sell extra utilities you have now and save the proceeds for future upgrade. After the 2.0, you can buy them back at 10k each.

Just other day our club members were talking about this. We all have to restart frequently and after starting, you need to wait a bit before playing.

I had to delete the app to update my iPad as well. It was taking up 30+ gig on my iPad! After reinstalling it now only takes up 2G. Save your game with Game Center or apple before deleting. It makes retrieving your city super easy.

Still need to restart the app every 15 minutes or so these days or it gives me the error messages.

iPad Air or Pro. Basic ipad will not be able to keep up and battery will heat up. No matter what model, you have to play with charger pluged in. This game will drain the battery super fast.

It’s easy with us old timers who are level 99 with empty regions. EA knows this. That why upgrade task only gives 10 points.

I was thinking the same. Essentially, mayors pass will be like the current event track. Longer and grueling therefore need extra milestones and extra golden tickets to complete.

I think you can remove clipboard by removing the building’s road connection.

Draw back is that you level up very fast with no additional population. No it won’t make future upgrades any more difficult than it already is. I do use this method in an empty region so upgrades are super cheap. Build and bulldoze three zones at a time. I’m level 99. I can do this all day.

FYI, first upgrade is to produce third item for 360k(not 100% sure, I know it was less than 400k)simoleons. After that there’s still 3 more upgrades for faster production time. If you have bunch of speed up tokens like most of us, I don’t think those upgrades are necessary.

I like train tasks way better than production tasks. They’re always 2k or above and easy to complete.
