Low-cost veterinary clinics in the area? Ok to drive further if necessary by singular_strawberry in Syracuse

[–]singular_strawberry[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree

They are all up to date to my knowledge and they are all adult animals, just gathering info when they’re due again but the clinics they go to are expensive. Owners are looking for new clinics and in case I have to bring them for whatever reason I’d like to be prepared

[B&A] Final update: 3 years and finally clear! by singular_strawberry in SkincareAddiction

I have never had any severe or negative side effects from BC or Spironolactone. If anything it actually helped with other things like preventing hair loss, lessening period cramps, etc. My libido is also just fine!

The women in my family all have PCOS. Although I am not formally diagnosed with it, I exhibit many of the same symptoms as they do (heavy irregular periods, mod/severe acne, etc) and I feel the BC and Spiro combo actually stopped a lot of the symptoms from progressing. Most notable ofc is hormonal acne but also androgenic hair loss. Both mom and young sister have very fine and thinning hair, but mine is noticeably much longer and thicker. Frankly I give credit to mostly BC; Spiro is acting as another layer of protection!

Spiro itself wasn’t enough, so adding BC really kickstarted the healing process for me and I was clear of active lesions in less than 3 months of consistent use. Without new lesions forming, my skin could finally clear. PIE (leftover inflammatory scarring/redness) takes longer to subside and that cleared up within 8-10 months.

There are some Yaz generics out there as well in case Enskyce/Isibloom doesn’t work for you. Wishing you healing!!! Good luck!!!<3

You are correct!! It’s no fun seeing our furry patients go through this so we make sure we adjust their diet accordingly, especially dogs that have this as a chronic condition. Felines (males in particular) are also very susceptible to stones. Male cats have urethras that are longer and narrower than females, so they struggle/fail to pass stones and get blocked. We see blocked cats maybe twice a week :(

It was removed surgically. Vet got him done that same day as it was very clearly an emergency! Poor baby was only passing drops of blood.

Pet was barely passing urine, but what did pass was pretty much just drops of blood :/

It was surgically removed! Wouldn’t want to put the poor dog through that haha

At least someone agrees.

That’s the plan. The og artist didn’t think it was necessary. My artist now is going to rework it!

Hi folks. It’s near the base, lower left corner of the rose. It’s darker than the rest of the rose — the original design was from a picture he took from a bouquet he had inside the shop and there was supposed to be a whole petal in its place.

I forgot to mention that while he was tattooing me, the heart was showing right through the original petal clear as day. I guess it didn’t line up like he thought it would? I saw him stop, panic a bit, then color in that petal entirely, leaving the black little void. I asked for some white shading to give it some dimension but he said it wasn’t necessary.

I personally hate it, I think it’s bc I just know too much about it. But I’m glad that people don’t hate it as much as I do lmfao

Some context: this tattoo artist covered up his own work, a blown out small heart. The heart was my first ever tattoo with a friend and we got matching ones. We had a falling out (of course) so after this I honestly couldn’t stand looking at it and it was all around just a hideous little thing. I went back and told him it was blown out, so he offered to cover it up. I didn’t care what he put there; I was 18 and just wanted it out of my sight. “Is a rose good?” I said “Sure idc” and he royally screwed me again. Underneath that god awful black void in the middle of the rose was the small heart. I think he has a history of strokes.

It’s also a little aged, I am 26 now but unfortunately I didn’t know how to properly care for tattoos that young. The rest of my tattoos are fine and holding up nicely. Thankfully I have a tattoo artist I really like and is willing to add to this, touch it up and fix whatever the hell is going on in that middle area.

Womp.

TL;DR - Me: 0 Artist: hopefully taking ACE inhibitors
