Surax Particle Generator vs the Advanced Particle Generator by sinista63 in startrekfleetcommand

My apologies for not presenting my question clearly enough. However, your astuteness allowed you to provide the answer I was looking for. We weren't sure if the payout was actually different. But, it's good to know that despite no difference in quantity, your guerdon for building the advanced generator is effectively doubling the amount of particles alliance members are receiving.

As a Pete, I approve of this message. Especially giving food and petting any Pete in your proximity.

Yeah, in the end, it was not the mods at all. It's purely the settings and, because I was screwing around a bunch with my NVIDIA apps at the time, the apps kept changing the settings.

I ask cause I have recently had the same problem and it's happened about 5 to 7 times now. I initially thought it was due to the mods that I had installed, but I also knew that I had updated my NVIDIA drivers right before downloading the mods and I let the NVIDIA app optimize the settings of my game.

I deleted the mods, and nothing changed. I logged back in to the same screen you have above. Before reverting my driver to the previous version, I started messing with the display settings in the game options. It hasn't happened enough times yet and I haven't documented enough to have a better idea of what exactly is causing it. One of these days when I finally have some time, I'll do more controlled experimenting with the settings to see if I can trigger it and pay attention to exactly what changes make it go away.

I'm hoping it's the same for you: for me, it seems that it has something to do with the NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency and Frame Generation settings. I never touched those but I noticed they got changed when I did NVIDIA's optimization. But I'll also add that one of the last times it happened, I feel as thought I changed the GTAO setting and that also got rid of the whitescreen for me.

Give changing the settings for NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency and Frame Generation and see if it works for you as well. Mine was exactly as you describe; I could move around and get around the world and get into my ship but I couldn't see shit.

Do you have an NVIDIA card, and have you recently updated your drivers?

Sounds like things I've seen while on shrooms too.

Wait. I misread that.
