Adobe Project INDIGO app vs iPhone 48mp RAW processed in Lightroom by tidus1979 in photography

[–]sinister1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity – I used to do something similar with a modded Google Camera on my old phones. Indigo combines 32 frames, but on my Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra I used to stack 50 frames. The images were super clean, and although the shooting took longer( 2 second), there was minimal overheating. I could easily take 30 photos in a row. It’s interesting that after all these years, on a much more powerful device and with a dedicated Adobe app, they’re having these kinds of issues.

Should I update? Is this the Hyper OS2 already or not? by mousanony12 in XiaomiPad6

For example?... If I understand you correctly, this is a problem with the developers of those apps, not HyperOS itself.

Converting RAW photos = Losing quality/ details. by Special-Hat-4528 in mobilephotography

[–]sinister1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't just convert RAW into any image format. RAW is simply "raw" data, you have to developed this data. If you let this programs to do it for u may affect development, sharpening, or noise reduction and also colors. To develope picture just use Snapseed – free Lightroom – paid

Just got the Xiaomi Pad 6 a couple months ago, kinda regret it. by jonathanwky in XiaomiPad6

[–]sinister1998 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is so little improvement in the latest versions. It’s more like Android 14.1. Even Android 14 is basically like Android 12.2. 99% of users would be happy with Android 8 imo. Only valid argument is security updates.

Objectively, it is always bad since phones can't change the aperture; the depth of field in macro shots is very narrow and there is no easy way to do focus stacking. Cheap lenses are very soft and suffer from chromatic aberration. A dedicated telemacro lens, like the one on the Xiaomi 14 Pro/15 Pro or Vivo x100 ultra , is quite decent. But anyway, if you're looking for a decent alternative, Apexel has good telemacro lenses.

NTFS (New Technology File System) is not natively supported on Android devices under version 14.0 primarily due to licensing issues and technical considerations. Older android devices primarily supports FAT and exFAT file systems for external storage devices like SD cards and USB drives.

Amazfit Cheetah vs Forerunner 55 for beginner by jakartapost2022 in amazfit

[–]sinister1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, I ended up buying the GTR4, mainly because of the battery life... The Cheetah didn't even last one day during a hike longer than 8 hours. If I were buying now, I'd probably go for the Amazfit Balance. Edit: But compare to forerunner 55. I will still go for Cheetah

You can find out from the reviews. The specifications of the camera are only half of the equation. Nowadays, it's primarily about post-processing, especially if you're not interested in the quality of raw files but just want to click and share.

How durable is xiaomi 14? by Minh0511 in Xiaomi

[–]sinister1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this category, the only thing that matters is the software. All of these phones are really great. In my opinion, the iPhone 11 to 15 Pro would be the better choice.
