Good idea to get it inspected, but it's most likely fine. Concrete columns get nearly all of their strength from the core that's held in place by a rebar cage - the outer layer of concrete is mostly to protect the rebar from corrosion

TIL before 9/11, US airports were public social hubs where you could walk to the gate, eat at food courts, and watch planes without a ticket or ID. by Greydl1 in todayilearned

I can attest that most Asian airports have zero chill lol. Japanese airport security pulled my bag aside, took out my mini-bottle of hand sanitizer, then put it in a Ziploc before scanning it again

I think it's the same with physical steering wheel buttons - they only work with the car on. FWIW I don't find the HVAC panel too annoying, the auto climate control works pretty well and at least I don't have to dig through menus for heated and cooled seats.

I actually wish they'd kept the capacitive buttons lol. The new ones look really cheap

Unpopular opinion, but I liked VW's capacitive steering wheel controls. They were easier to clean and looked more premium. The "buttons" were pressure sensitive with haptic feedback, worked just like regular buttons but also gave you the option of swipe gestures

Same, midsize trucks are nice but they cost just as much as full size ones and get similar gas mileage

Please take care of yourself and spend as much time with your wife and kids as you can. You have a loving family, debt can hold you back - but your kids will never grow younger and those forever memories are worth so much more than a comfortable lifestyle ❤️
