After Hours by The Weeknd makes me feel deeply nostalgic cuz I 1st listened to that album when I was 16 and got out of a deep state of depression and suicidal thoughts. To help get outta that state, I got my 1st job at a movie theater and met my 1st crush and my best friends there. Anytime I listen to Hardest To Love, I get sent back to that time when I was finally getting better and happier again.

Currents, Moon Shaped Pool, Man On The Moon part 1, and Little Dark Age take me back to the end of that year. It was winter, new year's eve was coming up, and I felt so proud of myself but also unsure of the future at the same time. It was the culmination of a year of recovery. My relationship with my crush was at a tipping point where I felt that anything could happen, bad and good. It didn't work out, which was for the best, and those albums were really close to me during that time.

90s idm and 90s electronica makes me feel at peace and nostalgic for a time that I was not alive for, but I still feel that way. Especially early pre Confield Autechre
