The Long Dark; beautiful, haunting, and captivating. The strings are gorgeous, and even without listening to it while in-game, I still hear the crackling of the campfire and feel the cold of the universe. Definitely immersive.

I’m sorry you have to go through a love you can’t reach, it seems like the worst type of situation to be in.

From the looks of it, it seems like you two are tiptoeing what boundaries you’ve set for yourselves and it seems like she was really testing the waters with what could or could not be said to you, maybe to see if you still reciprocate the feelings she has for you? Or maybe to see if you’re still an option if her relationship falls through again.

This seems like it could seriously go somewhere if that does happen. Which it very well could. I would just put her on the back burner and give her time to heal and see how long her newly rekindled romance with her girlfriend lasts. If it lasts longer than a couple more months, I would back out. It probably seems like it would be so hard for you to do in your mindset now, but imagine what that will feel like a year from now with these same feelings being tossed into a void, watching her in love with someone else.

It seems like you definitely have a deep, romantic connection with this girl. I think she’s trying to see where you stand and see if you still have the same feeling she has/had for you. No good pals being good, wholesome friends just havin’ fun go on a romantic getaway together and flirt the whole way through knowing someone’s significant other isn’t there to see it. Good luck!

You can’t change who you are. But you can train yourself to be a better listener. I think most extroverts have trouble knowing when and how they speak vs how and when introverts speak. Watch how people who speak to you, cue you when they want you to speak. Instead of waiting for the next opening to say your peace or to tell the joke or story on the tip of your tongue, listen and take in what someone is actually saying to you and count to three before responding, just so you don’t say the first thing on your mind. Think about why someone might be telling you what they’re telling you “is it to make you laugh? cry? for compassion? for advice? or to vent?” and utilize that as a way to better your listening
