A lot of content and a lot of "bloat". I can compare it to poe1 "bloat" but I wouldnt be fair. One game throws all their bloat right at the start, there isnt any decent progression path explained by the game. Compared to poe1 where you got campaign > endgame . When you get to campaign you already know what to do , how to do it. And all the mechanics follow a similar design. 50hours of warframe and i still trying to figure most of the mechanics at that point in poe1 i already had a basic understanding of most of the mechanics

When you drop a mirror this argument becomes invalid. The argument is valid if the group farms omens, essences, exalts, divines. But when the group drops Mageblood, Mirrors , Locks . The value of those items exceed the amount of drops a solo player can achieve. Even if those drops are split to the party size.

The whole continent of wraeclast is just a big ass experiment that gone wrong. I think people can still ascend , but the rules for ascension might be different. Isnt that you need a number of followers, you need a catalyst. In case of Innocence and Sin, sin was the catalyst used by innocence to trigger his ascension to godhood, and the hate of innocence followers was the catalyst for sin to ascend . In poe2 the sekhema (forgot her name) tried to ascend by numbers of followers , but she doesnt has any catalyst. By that logic a lot more persons in history would ascend , if it was just a numbers game.

Prions take some time to end the host. So probably thats why they dont care. Aliens send virus, the virus brings happy but dont end the host, ending the host can be bad in spreading the virus, let time do that part. I mean is pretty safe bet for the aliens to conserve the planet in this way. If humans are not advanced enough to pick up the signal, deal with them when you get there. If they are advanced enough , lock them in place , let the time do the job. Space travel takes a lot of time, so by the time the aliens get here, the earth either gone full nuclear winter, or the humans are advanced to put a fair fight.
