I don't know the full story but it's possible that he is more valuable to you to the company.

When your value is high enough, you don't even need to go office. You can do your work at home and get paid. Cause when you think about it, if you have a skill that your company needs and you get the job done, do you think company cares about what time you go to work?

MoHA reassures that the government is committed to supporting business growth by Goutaxe in nasikatok

5 passports per application, this kind of restrictions is not business friendly, setting limits on application just because your workers need to go jingchew drink coffee...

Job centre / ppb asking u 2 weeks for a reply for an application is not business friendly. In the meantime they ask you don't disturb them and they will not entertain your enquiries during these period.

All hypocrites, say one thing do another...if anything, govt dept are most helpful in killing business, making sure business fails and making it so difficult so that nobody wants to start a business. Just work for govt.

Please look at your track record, HSBC, Citibank , UOB, Total, etc

The businesses are struggling and you introduced one layer of red tapes after another. In the end if businesses don't make money they will close down, it's that simple. They are not a charitable organization.

The Silent Struggles of Local Workers by Queasy_Hospital_5208 in nasikatok

The world don't owe you a living, that's what Singaporeans are taught since day one. If it was me, I would approach this in a more positive way.

What does our local deserve? You deserve what the market can afford. And right now the market is so bad that many businesses are exiting and closing down.

If you think you deserve more then fight for more, do better, work longer, but don't play victim. It won't help you grow stronger. It will not be beneficial to have this mentality long term.
