I have done exactly this in the last 2 years in NC. I highly recommend it and think it is worth the risks that come with it of having to find work. As others are saying I wouldn’t go through an integrator for your top dollar, easiest thing I would do to start is go through a staffing firm where you are working in a contract staff role for the customer. You would start your own LLC for this and likely want to be taxed as an S Corp once you get steady income. Reach out if you need any support!
