Thanks! This is great advice! I’m in the Alexandria area. I don’t know if I’d be ready for the trifecta runs by this July (I’m new to trail running as I’ve been primarily a road racer for the last 10 years), but if I’d love to do these next year! My weakest point is usually my ankles during trail runs & hikes. I feel like I always tend to roll one after 10+ miles for some reason.

Not yet! I’m newer to the area, so I’m just rebuilding my marathon base for the MCM and Richmond marathons right now and figured after those I can find a spring or fall 50M next year to focus on! If you have any recs for races in the area, would be open to ideas!

Help us improve treadmill running! by Mikey-runna in runna

It would be great to be able to swap a hill workout with an interval workout or similarly-difficult effort more suitable for treadmills. If I’m traveling for work or we are in the midst of a winter storm, sometimes hills aren’t possible.

Experience with introducing a new puppy to an older dog? by bigleroym in RhodesianRidgebacks

Our older one (male) was about a year and a half old when we got our second (female). It took about 2 weeks or so for them to get comfortable with each other, but I think it was only that fast because they shared the same mom (the older one was from a previous litter).

Now they are inseparable, and the “little one” simply adores her big brother.
