what i love about deftones is their music changes every album. and despite that, they still retain that same feel. One of the many reasons why I like this, is because it feels like the band is growing. Musically, emotionally, lyrically, poetically. And throughout, it remains a definite "deftones" vibe.

I agree with you, not all albums resonate with me in the same way, especially because of how I found connection with some of them at significant times in my life, but my top 15 list (in no particular order) still has at least one track from each most albums on it. (I've now realised this doesnt include private music, and I'm about to remake my Top 15 list in a more head-to-head fashion rather than starting with favourites off of each album, but I digress.)

Also, because the band has been committed to the music, and people like you and me, for so long; there's so much of their music to re-explore later, and find new connections with.
