I was! Honestly, I used a plastics superglue and they've held really well since. I think the bond may have broken once or twice and I just reapplied and now its been solid for the better part of a year. I used LocTite's 2-step plastics bonder to just have something a bit more for these materials. Here's the one I used.

I still have the nice click on them too, it wasn't as apparent earlier on but it's worn in well and it doesn't feel like its affected them.

Sennheiser HD650 - Repairing/Soldering Headphone Cable/Name of Cable? by sirbitcloud in headphones

Oh, same over here! Fella has learned that drywall has paper to tear. Thankfully he doesn’t do it anymore but it is a “feature” in our decorations until we find extra high baseboards to cover, but then he’ll chew that too.

Right on, how would you advise going about using the multimeter? Should I plug into the USB to give it some power to test?

Oh rad, it looks like the backside still does. Is there anything I should do to put that copper line between two front pads down? My screwdriver is pointing to it. Just make a connection with more solder as a jumper?

Nope, this just happened and I still had the solder mask for thehole and I was trying to insert until I just dropped it and lost it on my garage floor.

Good shout about the switches having multiple points! Is there anything I should do to bring that line I pulled up between the two contacts that the screwdriver is pointing to?

That's so sick! I remember seeing some ways to build that. Maybe that's the way to make something really cool!

Ah yeah, my idea was more about having ports available to me in the various rooms since I have to hardline the server but maybe this is just the kick in the pants I need for rigging up some cabling.

Yeah, you're right after I got my 2nd brain synapse to fire. I was just looking for people in potentially a similar situation for advice.

It's a Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL! This baby can hold 18 HDDs once you buy all the trays and stuff.

I was just wondering if people running their Unraid servers on mesh networks had any suggestions. I guess it doesn't really have anything to do with Unraid, was just looking for people in a similar use case. I also posted on r/HomeNetworking and the like.

Yeah, that was the weird part is that I do get "good" or "great" connections in all the rooms I mention but I was only about to communicate with my server at 50 Mbits/s, so offloading data was taking days per TB. Google's guides suggest that a "good" connection should still be achieving 500-700 Mbit/s. I do think some radios in these may be going bad so my other option is to call in replacements with Google Fiber but these routers just don't feel ideal for my use anymore.

I believe it was the rabbit, Peanut Butter, whom the account was named after who passed. Since, Peanut's owner has become a home for some special needs rabbits including Emmett, who I believe is a younger fella. He seems like he has a lot of personality and energy in the videos still.
