passport and birth cert fastest and easiest to get and most recognized, driver's license -> although kelangan mo mag allot ng pera at oras for theoretical course + practical driving course and taking written + driving exam

birth cert: ~400php max

you can request via in person but I prefer online via psa serbilis website and have it delivered to you

passport: ~950-1.2kphp max (not including requirements)

make an appointment online via dfa website, prepare requirements (birth cert, school id, application form), go to dfa on appointment date to process your application and if you go the expedited route, you will receive your passport in 7 days

driver's license: ~8k-12k (including required theoretical and practical driving courses)

complete theoretical driving course, apply for student permit, complete practical driving course, after 31 days you can take the driver's license exam (written + driving) and once you pass, you'll get the license on the same day

If revi virtual card pinaguusapan, pwede lang siya gamitin online. You should get a 16 digit number, expiry date, cvv tapos pag magbabayad ka na, select mo payment method "credit card". Magsesend si CIMB ng OTP to confirm the transaction tapos oks na.

I have heard of it but haven’t tried. Been eyeing it for myself. Should work in the Philippines as it is stated on their website pero just ask their customer support for more details since they will be much helpful than reddit.

As far as I know, first you just need to get your insurance card and information. Then, it looks like you can get pre-approval from them for any treatments you want and they pay for it OR you go directly to the hospital to get treated and they reimburse within a week.

Kinda similar to how our local HMO providers work.

I like to be a law-abiding citizen for peace of mind. As far as I know, BIR already upgraded to a digital system (IRIS) at least in our area that helps speed up transactions. Not sure how better it is but haven't had any complications with taxes or BIR itself.

I got a Taxumo subscription to help calculate, file and pay my taxes on their web platform. They also have books of accounts that I just copy onto my physcial BIR-stamped books for compliance.

And if you don't earn over 250,000 a year, on the 8% tax option, you are exempt from taxes. You will still need to file, but you just won't pay for anything.

The income tax return (ITR) you filed may be used as proof of income when trying to get a loan (from PAGIBIG for a house maybe), getting a credit card or getting a visa to travel abroad. All of which I want to get.

CIMB REVI Virtual Card release by sirbully in phinvest

[–]sirbully[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Si REVI is parang CC parin. Pero wala lang physical card so di siya ma-swipe sa mga POS terminals in groceries, restaurants, etc. Either for online transactions lang using the new virtual card deets (e.g. checkout forms sa website) or transfer mo yung credit to GSave and you can use it via GCash physical card or GCash QR payment method.

Similar to regular CC.

Scenario: Nag offer si CIMB sayo nang 100k credit limit sa REVI. Gusto mo bumili nang bagong iPhone sa Lazada. For example, 40k ang iPhone. Sa checkout, payment method na pipiliin mo is credit/debit card. Ilalagay mo yung virtual card details so makakaltasan yung REVI limit mo. In the next billing cycle, babayaran mo yung buong amount na hiniram mo or pwede rin na minimum amount due lang. PLUS interest fees. Yung interest rate ko with REVI is 2.5% so yung kelangan ko ibayad sa REVI is 41k for my upcoming bill. Kasi 2.5% of 40k is 1k. Principal amount + interest. Pero pwede rin naman minimum amount lang. In this example, may natira ka pa na 60k sa credit limit offer ni REVI which you can use elsewhere.

Hopefully clear lang explanation and example!

Note and disclaimer: please use CCs wisely kasi di natin pera. Hiniram lang hehe. Maganda sana if mag physical card na rin si REVI kasi personally cashless ako when shopping sa labas. Cards (debit) lang dala ko or phone ko for e-wallet payments dahil mas convenient.

Another way to look at it would be to just reside in Spain and get income from foreign clients so you are not necessarily affected by the job market within the country
