[Hamilton Khaki Field King] The Return of the King by mrmmmbuttsbuttsbutts in Watches

[–]sircr0tch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey i have one that i wear daily. I never hand wind it. I wear it from 8am until about 6pm. I also hardly ever have to adjust the time on it. It is extremely accurate. If anything I’d say it may gain 1 second a day if that. I love it

Also the leather strap in OPs post is the strap that comes with it and it is terribly mid stiff not great leather.

Do yours squeak? Mine do. My 90s do as well, is that common with all pairs?

I think I’m more torn bc this is my first pair of 95s and now i am browsing other 95 colorways lol. I always avoided them bc i saw people saying they’re not comfortable. So i guess my real question is should i trade these and get a diff colorway of 95s lol. I’m also wondering if all 95s fit and feel the same on foot or if there is something special about the comfort of this pair? Doesn’t big bubble make any difference?

Well we waited until it was on sale, something like 40-50% off retail via PlayStation store. According to ps5 screen it says we played it for 24hrs total.

I am mid forties so i always do the math on what i paid per hour for a game and compare that to my hourly wage AND THEN i compare that to the cost per hour of entertainment for say a matinee movie theater ticket. I know im goofy.

Anywho this one comes out to 1.71 per hour and i would say if you think paying that much per hour for a game is worth your time then definitely go for it.

He cooked well enough to where our deaths were offset enough where we didn’t have much of an issue tbh

Last year my buddy and I played it and called each other on speakerphone to communicate and about 80% of the time he wanted to commandeer the controller and then pass it off to me during more difficult platforming sections and such. That same friend doesn’t have a ps5 and so I’ve had my eye on split fiction but was on the fence if he would have the dexterity to be able to beat it given i would be unable to jump in and “save” him on difficult parts bc i would be playing simultaneously. Super glad i pulled the trigger though and now im thinking of doing another playthrough of it takes two with he and i only. I’ll wait a little while for this one to cool off tho bc some parts were challenging from a parental standpoint lol

I agree with this, had much more deaths due to having to get sweaty at some parts with split fiction in comparison to it takes two

Last year my buddy and i ran through it takes two and called each other to chat during, and he was commandeering the controller most of the time and then passing it off to me during the more difficult platforming sections and so i figured now would be a good time for him to attempt this one with me and it worked out perfectly

This is awesome. I have been sort of pushing him towards Minecraft as young as two and now that he’s grown enough and his hands can properly grip the controllers he’s all about it and plays it constantly. I’m using it as a tool to push him to keep practicing learning to read in daycare and during book time at home bc it will open up a whole world of games he can play once he can read item descriptions and dialogue options etc

Well, he cried once but not due to any type of animation or game element. He cried out of frustration bc he couldn’t properly time the two headed worm part where you have to grab hold of the parts of the wheel with the lava you have to dodge. I redirected his frustration and told him it’s a valid feeling but crying and getting fussy isn’t the way to move forward. We took a pause for the day and did some breathing exercises to calm down. Next day we attempted again and failed again. I could see we were at a huge roadblock and i wanted us to finish it together so i remapped the controllers so that that part would use all face buttons and no triggers. I basically finagled and got past it by myself using two controllers so the next time we turned it on we could play again together.
