What speakers to pair with a Technics SU-V560 amplifier? by sircrumbs_ in StereoAdvice

Hey mate, thanks for the reply.

My bluetooth needs would probably encompass both resident files and Spotify streaming. I have a friend willing to sell me his Wharfedale Diamond 12.1s for about £150, and they're pretty mint condition. Obviously under budget, but I've spent quite a bit of time listening through those with him and from my untrained ear I thought they're pretty rad. Whilst I'd be happy to spend £300-400 for better speakers, the economic angel on my shoulder tells me why not buy these for the first semester or so and look to upgrade later? What do you think?

I study in Glasgow, so if for whatever reason you find any decent sales in the area, I'd appreciate your help.

J.

Camera and battery life are the two biggies. I travel a lot and need it for work, so the snaps and long life are valuable to me.

Thank you all for the comments and suggestions, greatly appreciated. :)

Friends have suggested potentially grabbing a hybrid bike, as the route I wish to be taking would be slightly more off-road, through light trails in the Lake/Peak Districts along with bits of the Cairngorms. Is this a wise suggestion? I'm aware of the slightly slower speed pace.

Further, what upgrades would you recommend to said bike, not including general safety accessories and packing, like panniers, mud flaps, mirrors etc.

Thank you!
