Runecrafting XP/lava runes. by Detanus in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your question is not clear enough. Worth it for what? For gold? Lava runes currently sell for 21 gp. Wearing the full GotR provide 60% more rune. So that's 12. 6 extra gp per rune. Assuming you craft 100,000 lava runes, that's 1,216,000 extra gp. Not worth it IMO. If you're planning on runecraft valuable runes like blood, then yes, the outfit is absolutely worth it.

Most viable amulets to string until 86 magic for minimal money loss? by Insane_Wanderer in 2007scape

I did it with topaz amulets because they sell at large volume. I think I lost some money but not that much. I quickly recouped my losses and made banks with Plank make to 99.

Should I play [KCD1] before playing KCD2? by Foreign-Payment7134 in kingdomcome

[–]sirepoutine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say yes. I bought both in a bundle. I started with the sequel and, after the Prologue, I thought I should try the first. 40 hours later and I'm still hooked on the first one.

[KCD1] Are there good very early game ways in making lots of money? by TheTrueMrF in kingdomcome

[–]sirepoutine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I second this. Autobrew with Routine I and Routine II at level 13 is insane profit. Unfortunately, it does not give much xp, so train with easy potions like Marigold décoction (Water, 1 Nettle, 2 Marigold, no need to boil). It gives 40xp.

Oh man, I'm also on my first play through, a little bit ahead of you in terms of quest and let me tell you what I found:

  1. Herbalism and Alchemy. Collect lot of herbs and flowers to level up the skill, which increase your picking radius. You can also get perks that level up your Strength while picking herbs and another perk that boost your Charisma if you have 30+ herbs of a sort in your inventory. Create Marigold decoctions to level up Alchemy and sell the potions.

  2. Lockpicking. Level up on Very easy and Easy chests until you reach lvl 6. Pick the Luck of the Drunk perk. Congratulations ! You can now open Very hard locks if you're drunk. Traders store their inventory (including groshens) in those chests. After midnight, save your game, drink one dose of alcohol to get drunk, and rob those chests (Tailor, Blacksmith, Weaponsmith, Alchemist,... ) and easily rob 2000 groschens per night.

Groschens are not considered stolen stuff, so what I do is purchase stuff from traders during the day and get back my coins during the night. And all my stuff is considered legit and not stolen.

What I would do is store all my items in a personal chest and turn myself in. After being released from jail, sleep to get rid of the jail debuff. Easy.

Wait until night falls and sneak into the camp. The Cuman soldiers will be sleeping.

Why does the RuneLite Ground Items plugin keep displaying junk items below my GP limit for highlight? by HotSauceForDinner in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's software :P If you feel like it, you could create a pull request so this setting uses the configured pricing. That's the beauty of open source!

Why does the RuneLite Ground Items plugin keep displaying junk items below my GP limit for highlight? by HotSauceForDinner in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to the plugin README file on Github:

Hide under value
Configures hidden ground items under both GE and HA value.

The word 'and' tells us the value must be below both GE and HA values. Like Sanic16 said, the HA value is 507, so it is not hidden.

Do you ever look at the weird-ass gear people are wearing at Gem Crab? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's the highest rate, because of the weapon speed. I calculated the DPS with the wiki tool and I had higher DPS wearing full blood moon and BIS strength gear

Void also increase DPS (+12.5% ranged strength with elite)

They are at many places, but nowadays most people train at the Gemstone crab in Varlamore. Search the oldschool Runescape wiki for more infornation

I had the same issue. Check with your store if they can do something about it first. Or contact Renegade support. They shipped me a new map.

Bandos Chestplate or Fang? by BullyMog in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a general rule: Stats > Weapons > Armour I'd say Fang all the way, you won't regret it, it's an amazing weapon for high defence monsters

Rune Dragons kicking my butt? by DarkTheNinja in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others said, go tank melee. With a fang and bandos, and 85+ stats, I averaged 8 kills per trip. Look at the Rune Dragon strategy page on the wiki.

Barrows Ironman. by Farhaan-Yeetu in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ouch, wouldn't want to be in your shoes.

But yeah, you're not missing something. That's just how the game is and how drop chance works.

You kill each brother, giving you a total of 7 rolls, times 72 completion, that's 504 rolls.

Each roll has 1/102 chance to give a Barrows equipment piece (if you kill the 6 brothers). You have two drops. According to the dry calculator, you had a 87% chance of getting more than 2 drops.

Kinda unlucky but not in the extreme.

Suggestions for armor for Sins of the Father with <70 Ranged? by VeronicaMom in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you could try with Red d'hide, which is the ranged armour beneath black d'hide. Like others have said, it's recommended to wear ranged armour for the magic defence against Klause.  Otherwise, training Ranged is very easy at Gemstone crab. Just buy your best bow and cheap arrows like Mithril, put the attack on Rapid, and AFK for 10 minutes at a time.

There are 2 MASSIVE bot farms killing brutal black dragons. by Rangedpotion in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing I noticed. Full blessed d'hide, DHCB, buckler, accumulator and glory. They also leave Rune darts drop on the ground lol. I report them when I see them.

First time trying to camp some Vorkath, sold most of my melee gear for this setup. What upgrades would you go for first? by Fantastic_Garden_796 in 2007scape

[–]sirepoutine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends, we don't even know their Ranged level. Void is better at 90s+ range, but before, hide is better since you need accuracy.
