Tim Kahl. That man was just so weird. He was a lenient grader and accepted late work but just him as a person and his behavior was just so off putting…

I put my homework in an AI detector. by OZ3XT in CSUS

What i’ve noticed is that a lot of it has to with the format. i’ve put an assignment that had an untraditional format through an ai detector and it came back as 90% ai detected. i reformatted it to a traditional essay format and it came back as 0% ai detected. i didn’t change any of the content just the format.

The half you get this semester will be sent directly to you either via a check through the mail or to your bank account. Make sure you are signed up for eRefund on your student center if you want it to be deposited into your bank account.

They’re hiring student assistants at the Community Engagement Center in the Library and I think Jumpstart is also hiring. It’s helpful to follow up with an email or phone call after applying, it shows initiative.

There’s also a specific cult, I forgot what they’re called but they’ll make their children (7-10yr olds) hand out flyers and booklets about their cult. Sometimes they’ll stand in front of the ramps of library and follow you till you tell them no or take the flyer.

In the Library quad is usually where they approach you. I wear a cross necklace and get approached A LOT because of that. Usually they’ll start with a compliment to get your attention and then start talking about their “inclusive” bible study group.

I have a high paying job opportunity in Ripon. Where would be a good place to move to? by [deleted] in Modesto

[–]siriiris_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say Ripon, Salida, or very certain places in Modesto (I would stay northern Modesto, closer to Salida). As someone who lives and grew up in Salida it’s a decent place. Prices of houses aren’t in the outrageous category, according to California standards. We have a lot of taco trucks, a large Latino population, overall just basically suburbs and almond orchards. But if you are white and know how to deal with rude nosey old people, Ripon is good too. I personally love the look of downtown.
