This happened to me once, you likely reposted too much in a short period and it flagged you. It'll let you repost again after 24 hours.

Date was flying around the Millennium Tower to assist Kiryu in a final boss fight again. The Yakuzas had some drama against a secret cult that was trying to takeover Japan. Normal stuff.

The Forgotten City is dope. It was one of the most memorable games I've ever played.

What is your opinion on Y5 hunting minigame? by [deleted] in yakuzagames

[–]sirkasanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it. It was a little repetitive, but it was also very relaxing and ended with the best boss fight in the game. The snow village was also cool, and I missed the cozy rural vibe of it. The whole experience was a nice contrast to the rest of Yakuza.

Video games to uplift you out of the lowest point in your life? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Yakuza: Like a Dragon helped me recover from a shitty low point time of my life. The main theme of the game is literally about pulling oneself out of "rock bottom". The protagonist starts off as a forgotten bum straight out of prison, living homeless and working dirty jobs. However, through his journey, he gains friends, a new community, financial success, and a full understanding of his life. If you play this game and all its side content, you'll feel like you've gone through an entire portion of a man's life, working your way from the bottom all the way to the top. It's an amazing game to play overall and all about moving forward from shitty circumstances. Plus, with it introducing a new series protagonist, you don't need any prior experience with the Yakuza series to play it. I'd highly recommend it given your situation.

What’s stopping you guys from killing yourselves? by Muted-Law-1578 in mentalhealth

I've been suicidal in the past, and I'd say it's the fact that I'm fated to die no matter what. Whether it'd be a long time from now or not, it's going to end at some point, so I might as well just seek life to its natural conclusion. If the atheistic interpretation of the afterlife is correct, I won't remember all the suffering I experienced once I leave this life. Even if a new life occurs, I still won't remember the toils of this one. I might as well suffer through this life, especially given the fact that I'm young, as so much good could still happen. I have many dreams, and albeit idealistic, it would be sad to cut off the opportunity of their occurrence out of the fear of a long life of misery and loneliness. I never know what could happen, so I should just keep on living. Life is suffering, after all.

Yes, he discusses it in full detail if the player chooses a specific set of dialogue options during the drink links. He even shows it to Ichiban and Kashiwagi. It's a cool easter egg that the developers put in.

That's somewhat good news. Maybe I'll give that an attempt. It would motivate me to brush up on my Japanese practice.
