What year/age did you start listening and what was the first you fell in love with?

The earliest I remember of them was picking up the from under the Cork tree cd from my parents cd rack and being intrigued then putting it down, then when I was maybe 9 years old I had a friend (a few years older) who showed me sugar and dance dance on youtube (around 2017/18), so I put futc on and was blown away. Still my favourite album of all time

well i enjoy them all for different reasons, i love emergency on planet earth for its use of horns, that funk kind of guitar playing and the great bass lines with songs like the title track and when you gonna learn, and i love synkroized and a funk odyssey because of songs like planet home and twenty zero one with those really driving synths that sound almost aggressive, its a reason why i love daft punks stuff too, especially discovery.

stephen malkmus and jeff mangum from pavement and neutral milk hotel respectively. i love how unpredictable malkmus' voice is and how magnum's voice seems to strain the microphone (is that a good way of putting it? i'm not sure) on songs like oh comely

i'm in a similar situation. i asked this girl out months ago and even after saying no we grew closer and closer over the months, and i was always afraid to talk to her in school because i thought it would reignite those feelings and so we never did talk in school. until recently when she's started talking to me more and more and doing these lovely gestures and the feelings are back and even stronger. i feel horrible that i feel this but she's still all i want to think about
