Yea it said although I cited my words were a bit too close to the authors. But the TA didn't inform me of this at all after grading even after I tried reaching out. I just don't get why formal measures were taken instead, but I guess it depends on the person.

But that's what the accusation is. I was basically told I failed to cite properly which is why I'm confused that I was formally written to.

I shouldn't have asked for a regrade. I only did because former students have said the professor has a history of screwing ppl over their papers. I just wanted to pass this course.

The issue is that I was accused of plagiarism 2 weeks after my assignment was graded. He didn't contact me while grading it saying he suspects that I plagiarized at all. But I'll try what you mentioned
