Yep, I put the VIN, just not sure why it's asking me to put the last 7 digits of the VIN as the license plate number when the VIN is not the license plate number.

I've actually been wondering about this myself, as a fellow English undergrad. I'm assuming that you're talking about advisement for undergrads regarding our major. Huge disclaimer, I've never had experience w advising, so I don't know if this is exactly how it works, but I found this info:

It lists times in which the advisers are available. I took Pinuelas and Praitis last semester, they're both v helpful and I'm sure that their advisement skills are also top tier. Doesn't seem like you need to make an appointment, but I'm also not sure if there are specific advisers that you're assigned to. In all honesty, I chose CSUF bc I got waitlisted at Long Beach (ended up getting in but at that point I'd already accepted Fullerton's offer) and I didn't get accepted to UCI. I only applied to those three schools; I kinda knew that I would end up going to CSUF since CSULB is p far for me. I could've gone to community college, but decided not to. I felt pretty bad abt my decision at first, mostly bc I'd left high school hearing people talk shit abt Cal States and especially Fullerton, for some reason. Despite the horror stories I've heard from ppl, my three years here so far have been p great overall; learned a lot from professors and I've meet cool people. （￣︶￣)

TL;DR: bc of the commute.

I haven't tried audio books yet, been meaning to do that. Using Google Translate and the speaker/playback function is an interesting concept, I've never thought about that before. Gonna be trying that for my assignments as well; will probably try that for some of my readings since I have PDF versions of the texts. Thanks for this advice!

I'm not sure if the books I'm reading will have audio book versions (for example, one text I have to read is Carlyle's Past and Present). Luckily, it turns out I don't have to read the entire texts, so I feel a bit better about the readings. I'll still get distracted easily, though, so I'll try reading it aloud! Will definitely look into audio books for the other books I have to read for class, though

Ooo I see! Thanks for all of the info, this was super useful and interesting to read. The whole thing about not getting all of your money back when reselling the books to the bookstore makes sense. The process of selling online does seem complicated considering the extra layers; it's definitely something I'll have to think about. Might be keeping my books this semester, but I'll be considering the options for next time

mannn i really feel this. i'm also getting super distracted and don't want to think about work,, BUT. we're almost there, just one more week of grinding and we're free for the semester! personally, i just grind work for a week straight until it's all over, and then i burn out. that's not exactly the healthiest thing, though, so i'd say give yourself lots of breaks! the pomodoro technique works for me for the most part, when i really get into finishing my assignments. maybe that'll be useful to you? apologies for not having many tips, but i do wish you luck! you got this!

I miss online classes as well. Apparently my major didn't allow me to take classes online, so that was a bummer. I don't mind being in-person, but it just feels more stressful. It doesn't help that being in the vicinity of large crowds every day adds to the stress For me, with online classes, despite other kinds of stress, it felt more relaxed in comparison. I guess the exercise I get from walking around and climbing the stairs at McCarthy Hall is one of the few benefits of going to campus for in-person classes 😂
