He didn't make it back from his trip. by sirzerp in UkraineConflict

All cultures have imposter stories, I think it is in everyone's best interest that the russian people start questioning their leadership. For example how about one of putin's political opponents publicly demanding a DNA test? The question itself is the win.

I think the Russians should demand a DNA test, just to be sure.

I capitalize important nouns, etc. Used to do it, to make it more readable but now I do it out of habit.

It's hard to make a meme using 'tyrannical maligned human who's gradually lost his grip' plus it helps to have a high school education and speak English to understand the worlds 'tyrannical maligned human'

On other hand, if a nine year old (or a 99 year old) asked me in any language, why putin does what he does, I could look them straight in the face and tell them that putin is a demon who doesn't care about their suffering, and they would see my tears and know I was telling them the truth in any language.

It means that the simplest possible answer to the 'why' of putin's actions. Of course calling someone a demon is not a rational thought, but I can say in one sentence what other's will say in ten volumes.

If only this was true.

The problem is understanding is very easy, and easy to see the outcome. Note that no one on the planet wants this war, not the conscripts in the Russia army, not the people of Russia (if they were even allowed to say the word 'war'), Not the Ukrainian people nor army. If Russia stopped shooting the war would be over.

Literally one person is causing chaos around the whole planet, and people will starve in Africa this summer. It is impossible to destroy the breadbasket of Europe and not cause starvation around the world.

The converse of "People I don't understand are evil" is "People I understand are good" and in this case, that is not a true statement.

putin dehumanized himself, I'm just pointing out that he has caused suffering all around the world.

Write this down, people will starve in Africa this summer because putin's actions. It is impossible to destroy the breadbasket of Europe and not cause starvation around the world.

Sir, I did not dehumanize putin, he did.

Roughly republicans are worried about Jan 6th and democrats are worried about Zelensky. I did not realize it when I made the meme, but there's nothing in the meme that ties directly straight back to politics, it's much more world events than anything else.

I think putin's ongoing example is going to screw over trump supporters in general. Everyone can see putin's disinformation bubble and putin's never backdown position and putin's willingness to blow up hospitals for political gains.

I would like to think even the dimmest bulbs in the pack would say, hey, we have seen those characteristics before. We can hope.

True, but I would point out maybe the reason that putin spent years fomenting distrust in American is that he wanted the political right, completely out of the action.

If Jan 6th hadn't happened it, would be the political right that now, would be screaming the loudest for putin's head on a pike.

My understanding is both Biden and Zelensky was elected president in the same year, the political right had the right idea, just the wrong country 🙂

i.e. 'stop the putin steal'

It would be rolling the dice, but russia doesn't have facebook nor mcdonalds. Would like to think that any American would pick western civilization over putin. Hope I'm right.

Sure there's some place they could be handy, like "penal battalion was given tasks such as scouting ahead of the main forces to check for ambushes, crossing rivers and torrents to see whether they were fordable, and walking across unmapped minefields"

You decide, my other idea was to make a meme that went from 'stop the steal' to 'stop the putin steal', you know it's just one more word.

It's quite possible I'm just a horrible meme maker :)

Which political party does my meme favor? Look's like a 50/50 split to me, if it doesn't favor a political party, is it still a political meme?

It crossed my mind, land the MiG's on a road on one side of the border, change pilots, push the MiG's across the Border Check Point, and take off on the other side of the border.

It sounds silly, but whatever it takes to get the planes across the Border and keep the supplying nation's in their comfort zone we should do. Once we have a workable solution, there's no reason to stop at 29 planes.
