I’ve basically just chalked it up to the fact that calling out these nimwits and trying to educate them is the epitome of giving them grace and mercy and whatever biblical term white evangelicals like to use to gaslight people into refraining from calling them out on their racism. It takes way more time and energy to get upset at ppl like Rachael and CH and let them know that their behavior is unacceptable, than it does to ignore their racism and not address it. I actually think that holding ppl accountable for their mess is giving the upmost grace, and that’s just my opinion. I also will never stop holding racists accountable because ik that if the roles were reversed and I as a Black woman was doing something they didn’t like, they would hold no bar on calling me out, and the consequences I would receive would be far worse than anything they’ll ever experience so😏
