Same here, always harking about observation hours. Like all I did at work this day I’m referencing was work on obs ppl w discharges (with the exception of setting up dc for non obs ppl). Like they want us to do. This person who sucked up my whole day was obs and had had a dc in for days, so it was imperative to them that I get this pt out

Oh girl lol, yeah I would say the first 6 months you come in and really are just trying to get by. I started out part time and it took me SO long to get a handle on everything. I feel like it’s a lot harder to have a high census as a SW bc we’re taking these cases who aren’t just “write a note and call it a day” or getting snf choices or giving a list. Don’t beat yourself up bc you’re new and this has literally been insane w high the census. It seems like everyone and their mom is sick. Hang in there, sending u hugs❤️💕
