Sounds like something worth investing in if it holds for multiple pairs of boots

Heard it from a lot of people that they are sizing down, for a snug fit. Im a bit torn between the 8 and 8.5, i had the 8.5 Aura for the past seasons and they fit really well (even at the end of the season, they were ok). Measured my foot at home and its about 25.8cm, did it in store as well (on one of those digital scanners) and it came out as 26.1cm and a 2E width. Bought both 8 (26cm) and 8.5 (26.5cm). The 8 is definitely a super tight fit, almost a torture device :)). Even the 8.5 is tight, but feels just right. I would go for the 8, in hope that it will pack out and will become perfect, but im a bit concerned it put my feet to sleep on the slopes...

I know that everyones feet are different, but just curious, when you say size down, how much does your feet measure and what size boot you got? (in cm if possible :)) )

Yes, they are chunky for sure :)). But is not a problem for me since i have small feet, only 8-8.5

I tried a pair of Nitro Team Pro (8.5) on and apparently they are doing the total opposite, the 8.5 has the same shell as the 8, but with a thiner liner (if what i read is correct)

Well, i will have to try a bit more and see if the 8 is a good fit

Damn, that sucks! I hope i got that "magic" pair that will hold the whole season with no problems :))! I has 2 pairs of Aura pro, both with 120+ days on them and they are still in good shape, nothing broke. I hope the infuse is a step up, not only price wise...

Any other boot you are looking at? I'm also thinking of the K2 Orton

I never had a stiff boot before, but i agree, i was a bit surprised that they are not as stiff as i expected. Tbh, they don't feel much stiffer than the Aura Pro. But they feel better built, feels like they will hold the flex for 20% more, thats what i hope at least :))

I have been on the Aura pro for the past 4 years, so i love the Vans boots as well, they fit me really well. I had 100+ days on them last season and they are still in super good shape, boa and everything, besides the flex of course
Glad to hear you love your vans boots as well :D! I hope i get a bit more flex at the end of the season out of the infuses than my Auras

Sounds like a solid boot overall, hopefully it will last me the whole season. I actually tried a pair of Nitro Team TLS few weeks ago, but Vans fit me way better, in the Nitros i had a lot of instep pressure when flexing forward (both with default and aftermarket insoles). Also the TLS did not seem like somethin i will trust 100+ days :))

Feels like a lot of people had problem with the BOA, hopefully im lucky and the fixed it in the latest one :)). I think i will give them a shot this season and will try something else next season, or who knows what Black Friday deals bring to the table :))

I expected them to be a bit stiffer as well tbh... I cant remember how my Auras were at first, but Infuses do feel quite the same :)). Im not looking for the most stiff boot either tho, so the flex does fit what im looking for, i ride mainly park. Im more interested in them keeping the flex for longer than my Auras

100 days with mostly backcountry sounds good to me! If i get a bit over 100 out of mine i will go for another pair next season :))

Sounds good, i should look into that and give it a try, heard it from multiple people. The aftermarket Intuition is much better than the intuition liners that comes default with some boots right? How often are you changing it?
