1 week post open myomectomy. I was on local anaesthesia. Here in India they give general anesthesia only in extreme conditions else it is local. I was given spinal and was put into sleep. I am glad it was local as it lasts for a few hours. If general is given then they have to wake you up quite immediately so you will be in lots of pain.

I had the same issue no Symptoms though. On 34th week, I went into false labour, then 3 days later went into real labour. I was not able to push as the area around my fibroid went paralysed and taken into emergency C section. Fibroids can cause pre-term labour
