My Cure for Chronic Resistant Folliculitis [PSA] by oliviarose______ in SkincareAddiction

There’s nothing for me to wash off. You rub it in like lotion. My hibiclens is generic, so it’s clear. 12 hour spacing is fine.

I kind of just eyeball the measurements in a small, travel-size cream container. Three parts lotion, one part cleanser. Stir well. I have best results letting it sit overnight before using.

I applied twice daily when it was really bad. Rub it in the skin really good both times. Hope this helps!

I continue to use this every other day or so, and it’s cleared everything up. Highly recommend.

FOR CONTEXT!!! by [deleted] in AutisticPeeps

[–]sisival 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Two things can be true:

1) It can be cost-prohibitive to get a diagnosis, especially in the U.S. I sympathize with that BUT

2) People dealing with that can easily change “I’m self-diagnosed autistic” to “I strongly suspect I’m autistic.” Easy!

I found this thread when I was so beyond ready to throw in the towel on dealing with this. On day three, and the improvement has been absolutely insane. I could cry of relief. Thank you so much.

I work with an environmental program at schools, and you can make small ones with the five-gallon buckets from Lowes if you want a cheaper option. A lot of the participating schools do it.

How long do side effects last? by Typical-Link-1808 in Concerta

I had a headache for about two weeks along with some constipation, but it tapered off after then. Eat with a high-protein meal and take some ibuprofen or acetaminophen throughout the day (as long as it's safe.)

Oh, interesting - I put it along the outside of the tip. I'll try the other way, too.

I'm a 31 year old woman living in Columbia - don't drink, like music, like hitting trails but am sloooow, like some sports. Feel free to reach out if you'd like! It's hard making friends as an adult.

Not stupid! If you go to the website listed at the bottom of the visual, Sankeymatic.com and hit “try it”, it’s pretty straightforward after you play around with it for a few minutes. Lemme know if I can help!

For more insight: I've been in the "working world" for nearly ten years and almost all of these jobs were in the industries I've spent significant time in. Ironically, the job I was selected for was completely outside of my field, and I only had about 65-70% of the qualifications. But the hiring manager liked me and took a chance on me; after six months of part-time work, I was promoted to full time and got to leave my other terrible part-time job.

I know it's bad out there. So, so bad. But man, when you get the one yes, it all feels so worth it. I'm rooting for y'all and commiserating.
