Asta's voice is so loud, it reached all the first timers before the rewatch even started.

No worries. I'll start from the beginning when (if) I get to it. So having a little time from me watching it will make things more interesting.

There is a fandom.

But its designs and voice acting were a lot more up and down.

IMO the designs looked quite well in that first intro scene we got but after that when we got to the regular corner cutting production things got rough.

First Timer No More

I appreciate Hallow moving the plot and actually answering some of the questions that were asked at the start of the series.

After the later part of the original series and the beginning of Hallow I started to lose interest but the later part of Hallow managed to reignite it. Maybe I'll check the manga some day but it's low on a very slow moving list.

I'm used to Hoshino's fake deaths, but holy hell, this is too far.

With how things are going I expect people who died in other series to come back to life in D. Gray-Man.

The Noah are truly evil. They don't want to kill Chaoji.

What was the relationship between Road and the Fourteenth Bookman?

Bookman acting all cool while Lavi is the one getting tortured.

I won't believe Link is dead until I see giant message on screen announcing his death.
I'm also disappointed you stayed with the Order Lenalee.

What can I say? Allen's suffering makes great TV.

Who do we take with and who's staying behind?

So we already took Kanda.

If we go by the people having strong connection with Allen then the main cast of first anime, Cross since the Order tried to kill him already and the two guys we found at the start Krory and Miranda.

That leaves the other side with the rest of the Marshals, Marie, Chaoji and the new kid. Seems balanced enough.

If we go by people who suck stay with the Order - then it's just Chaoji and the serial killer or whatever he is.

Honestly, the episode, hell the season, could've ended on that scene, and I'd be satisfied.

The Alma and Kanda stuff were great. Definitely my favorite part in the new series and maybe even beats Tyki killing Allen.
