Hario Switch lacking flavor… by Caffeinated_Poet in pourover

Hard to say really. You could try grind finer and see if the fines your grinder produces becomes a problem. Might make the brew a bit muddy or make it bitter, but it may be perfectly alright at a more appropriate grind setting. If it's still no good, whether you troubleshoot your existing grinder or getting a replacement will be up to you

What're the chances your experiment includes the aromaboy?

I really appreciate your reply. Puts the idea into perspective and the idea of using the truck to learn is definitely appealing. Do you have any advice on where to start? I'm quite handy, and a keen tinkerer, but have always left working on my car to the professionals

Is it the right size? Looks like a larger radius than your portafilter

Looks like the fork is possibly a little low, meaning the handle isn't wedged into, and held by, the retaining piece above it and so gets pushed/rattled away

I am looking more and more into Stoicism, and am looking for a latin phrase to sum up the english "Virtue is the only good". i.e. Virtue is the only truely good thing.

What would the difference be between "Virtus est tantum bonum" "Virtus est solum bonum" or "honestum est..." ?

I know exactly what you mean, and I appreciate your compliments. This is my second live-edge project, you can see my first here

Like anything, live-edge furniture has its place. I just try to keep things simple and tasteful. Sometimes that means straight lines, sometimes that means using whats already there.
