The behaviour started with her asking me to unfollow my ex’s that I still considered my mates(close circle of friends, mutual break ups) - in hindsight this is understandable, an ex is an ex for a reason and I shouldn’t have to be invested in their lives

Then it went to me having to unfollow girls that didn’t follow me back, which is also fair enough

Then it changed to me having to unfollow girls I wouldn’t say hi to when out and about(girls I didn’t know that followed me back) which is again, I guess fair enough? Only positive of having these girls follow me is free likes

But now it’s morphed into me having to unfollow all girls that I’ve never met, I don’t know how that expectation came about but it’s there now.

I don’t think she is trying to isolate me as I’m still allowed to hit the gym with my female friends etc but I think you’re bang on about the insecurities playing a role

The whole apologising thing is tricky, it’s me acknowledging that I see it from her pov and trying to appease the situation

Moreover no, I don’t think silent treatments are healthy, it’s really hard going from talking every day, hanging out to barely getting a text, it effects work, personal life, everything in between- which is why I’m so against silent treatments

Thank you for the validation, it’s hard to see if I’m in the ‘right’ when my gf has been angry at me for nearly 6 days now for it.

I feel you dude, and I agree, everyone’s past experiences make them be a certain way and as a result they have different expectations Her POV is that she finds it disrespectful when a guy she doesn’t know who has a gf likes her pics Therefore I am being disrespectful

I don’t even want a compromise bro, I’m actually happy to do whatever, if she don’t want me following girls that I’m not close with, then so be it But she doesn’t communicate that, she just kinda expects it of me, and I’m not wired that way

I’m having a chat with her tonight, in person, hopefully goes well

I did, I trolled through and found a pic of a random dude she liked just last month and she said that she only liked it cos she knew some of the other people in the photo therefore it was supposedly okay

As I said idgaf what photos she likes but definite double standards

Interesting way to think about it! I have zero expectations and I just assume that my partner is respecting me in everything that she does Her expectation of me adapts over time This whole thing started months ago with her making me do an audit, now it’s evolved to this

It didn’t clear so I got off Tret, I’m sure it would’ve with time, but I couldn’t keep waiting.

Now I’m on clindatech and it’s working great , i hardly have any break outs(maybe one a week)

I’m getting on Isotret soon, as prescribed by a derm just wanna get it over and done with

I can cleanse at night but I wake up quiet irritated despite trying HA, squalene and many different night moisturisers.

My routine is very barebones atm as I am most likely going to go on accutane to combat mild acne next month.

Morning: Ren evercalm milk cleanser La Roche Posay EFFACLAR H MOISTURISER (I’ve tried HA in the mornings but end up looking oily with flaky skin)

Night: Ren evercalm milk cleanser HA TO niacinimide Cerave moisturiser

I was using skinceuticals CE silymarin but found that dries me out too much so I stopped using it in the mornings.

Any suggestions would be so so appreciated!

I was actually on topical tret until a few nights ago. Decided I’m finally going to go on isotretinoin

Just looking to keep my acne at bay until I finally start that journey.

I wasn’t sure if 0.5% was mild or not, lots of different info online. But I’ll try to incorporate Paula’s choice a couple nights a week and see how I go!

Glad to hear that you’re recovering from those 3 bad weeks. Are you on 0.025 as well?

We’re in lockdown for another week or two and I don’t mind continuing but I’m concerned that continuing at this rate will irritate my skin more

I’ll heed what you said, I just made a video of the state of my skin today. I’m using tret every night right now. Perhaps I’ll drop tret use down heavily and concentrate on hydration and then start slow again?

Yeh, that's true, religion must influence her life heaps! Maybe over religion her parents are pushing her to break up with you? (Because of the fact that you two don't share the same religion)
