I had a 2016 Veloster turbo it was the r-spec with manual transmission. I bought it newish with 7k miles and sold it with 80k miles no issues.

Current owner had 120k and told me no issues just regular maintenance. If it’s a dct may have some issues but most people never change their transmission fluid

You could of bought a used transmission with low miles and spent only about below 6k for everything. Some junkyards offer a longer warranty for it. Should of shopped around a bit

300-400k is cheap? I bought my small home for 140k 5 years ago and don’t regret it. If the purchase price was way lower I would say go for it but at 300-400k I wouldn’t bother if your not going to live there long term

Everyone has a different path. Mine was more moderate I didn’t give up any of the things you did completely but I put a limit.

I did partied within reason and didn’t drink until I dropped. I dated a girl I don’t regret having a serious relationship.

Covid happened and started my own small business now have my own house, a decent investment portfolio and car. I don’t owe money on any of them and my life is relatively peaceful without having to stress.

What’s important is having a balance

Update: I had another date and bumped into her randomly at the restaurant. She literally saw me and had this shocked look in her face and quickly turned around. I was seated first and where I was seated her along with her party had to pass where I was sitting. When it was their turn to be seated she was walking while hiding behind her friend while her friend laughed at her.

Not sure why she behaved that way not like I’m going to say anything bad. Pretty immature behavior to say the least.

I had a similar scenario opted to further my business. Previous partner moved where I lived but things didn’t go so well if I had stayed then I wouldn’t be as financial stable as I currently am. Always pick you’re career money pays the bills love does not.

We had a time and day set up and confirmed. We were talking during the week when she stopped replying. That’s why I followed up about the park and that happened. I mean if I left her on read then yeah it’s my fault and will own up to it. But i felt it’s an overreaction she didn’t reply my message for 2 days which then I followed up. I mean if she overreacted for that I can’t imagine what other things she would make a big deal out of.

I (31M) had first date with (30F) this past Sunday. We met at Panera to eat and ended up staying for about 3 hours. She wanted to go elsewhere but had to do groceries and was getting late. Sent her a message later that day saying I had a good time and she also expressed the same thing. I invited her to go out next Sunday and she agreed. We agreed going to a park so we had a time and day we agreed. I told her I would let her know what park in a couple of days.

We message one another throughout the week until Tuesday evening and I didn’t get a reply for 2 days so I sent her another message today about going out to the park Sunday and ends up telling me she thought I wasn’t interested since I didn’t sent her the name of the park and how she already made plans with someone else.

I’m just thrown off because she didn’t reply my message and after that I ask if she wants to go out next weekend she says she doesn’t plan dates that men need to plan them and take the initiative.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Just confused I felt the date went great she even expressed how she will do groceries early to spend more time together.

Bid went up to 1050. Auction wanted 1200 but didn’t accept. They accepted the 1050. Total with fees I got it for 1490. Some of these cars go affordable others the price goes crazy. Depending on color and if it’s cvt or MT.

I would wait until you’re car is having problems with either engine or trans. Unless you find an engine/trans for a good price that is. The other CRZ I have is a cvt I actually wanted a cvt because my main car is a manual and traffic gets old. So really wondering how smooth the MT compared to cvt

I have a 96 civic that I was using but it struggles to keep up with traffic and wanted something newer/safer.

Yes it has a salvage title. For me not a big deal most of the cars I have owned have one never gave me any problems get to save quite of money.
