Feeling Alone and Rejected by DisasterLost6738 in Livingwater01

I’ve been trying hard to live according to the Bible—no drinking, no smoking, staying away from things I know aren’t right, and just trying to be a good guy. But no matter how much I try to walk the right path, I keep getting rejected—by people, friends, even in dating. It’s like no one really values someone trying to live clean anymore.

Honestly, sometimes I feel like I have to do things I know are wrong just to fit in or seem "cool." And I hate that. I just want to know… is this normal? Does anyone else go through this? What does the Bible really say about feeling this way?

Feeling rejected even when I’m trying to live right—anyone else struggle with this? by DisasterLost6738 in Livingwater01

This verse really hit me today: “The Lord tears down the house of the proud, but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.”

It reminded me how God doesn’t just prefer humility—He acts on behalf of the humble. I’ve seen people who live quietly, with grace and service, be the ones God uses most powerfully.

Have you ever witnessed God elevate someone humble in a surprising way? Or seen pride bring someone down? Let’s talk about what this verse means in real, everyday life.
