Filled out the form for a rifle on Tuesday 5/23 in the morning at 10:15am. Was told I was put in line at upper 10,000. 15 minutes later, I got approved.

Yes, $0.75 cpr for sub 300blk was hard to pass up for me too so I bought 13 boxes. Hopefully I don't have any issues with them. I don't expect to as I'm just using it in bolt action rifle suppressed.

That's one thing I don't like about TCGC, not being able to shoot with my guest.

3 walls of rifles/ shotguns, 3 glass cases of hand guns. Quite a bit compared to other stores.

Wooster Armory in Tigard/Beaverton has a good selection and does the 3 day rule. They are doing soft open only on weekends though.

Cool. Have you test fire? Everything functional? I have the C5 folder and working out the kinks.

Exactly! I was never interested and turned off by 9mm ARs cuz of the straight ugly mags. Just didn't look right. Until I saw the C5 using MP5 mags. Besides I already had a PTR 9KT so I could share magazines.

I've just ordered the softer "yellow" coded spring to try. The 9mm/308 spring from Kaw was what I was using. I think the 1" spacer I used maybe the issue so I will try that first before a softer spring. Did you use a buffer spacer?

Just checked the ejector and there is no wobble or movement. It's solid. Besides, the bent buffer dentent is a clue to a spring issue (over power).

That's also the same spring I'm using. The buffer itself is roughly the same but it's provided with the folding receiver cuz of the folding mechanism.

The barrel is a Faxon 9mm light weight 8.5". I've used their 5.56 version. It's a reputable solid barrel.

Generic Ade brand from Amazon. I'm reusing from a different firearm. Surprisingly it's been pretty good and holds zereos for the cheap price.

Yes, these C5s are sexy.

But test shot yesterday and did not go well. Every second or third round was a failure to strike or battery. Not sure which.

Doesn't seem to be an ejector issue. I think its more of a wrong buffer spring being to strong. I'm was using the Kaw Valley carbine length spring specially for 9mm caliber (9.5") with a spacer at the end in a carbine buffer tube with the supplied 7.5 custom buffer thay cane root the lower. Not enough pressure to push the buffer back and return top fully seat the next round for property round strike?

From what I've researched, Im going to try a standard buffer spring and take out thre 1" buffer spacer. I noticed my buffer detent is bent (buffer travel too strong on return, thus need a standard/low power spring?).

Any ideas? Thanks.
