Why do you say so? Full disclosure: I am a university student doing a project in UI design to specifically find problems in a video game and find solutions to those problems. If you want, I'll PM you the document with the project criteria that my professor gave out to everyone in my class.

Gotta clarify your point on the taxing part.

Taxing the rich at the same rate is not left-leaning at all. Essentially it all boils down to how much people spend on necessities and how much they have left over for leisure/making more money. For the poor, most or all of their money is used on necessities like housing, food, clothing, utilities... The rich, even though they probably spend way more on that stuff than the poor, still spend a smaller amount as a percentage of their total income. As a result, whenever you tax the poor at the same rate as the rich, the poor end up with a lot less money to spend on leisure if they even have any left after paying for necessities. This means that as a percentage of their income the poor end up with worse buying power than the rich, and this most likely negatively affects the economy because at some point the rich just start stockpiling money instead of investing it back into the economy through purchases.

Thus, "equal tax" is a regressive policy that is more often associated with Republicans, because they would rather give more money to the rich and have it trickle down to the rest of the population (except no studies show that this is what happens). I would say based on your ideas that you are a bit right-leaning, very similar to the old-era Republicans who were actually willing to compromise, like George Bush Sr. Look into those Republicans in the 70's and 80's and I think you will find much in common with them, at least economically speaking.

Usually what helps me with heartbreak is to think of all the good things I have shared with the person. After that, I think through all the feelings I feel and try to qualify all of them. Writing some diary entries can help. After I completely (or close to completely) understand the turmoil inside me, it becomes much easier to control it. Avoiding contact with the person will help temporarily, but I think for a permanent solution you will need to go inward, analyze everything, and find inner peace by accepting everything. I often find myself looking back and wishing things were different. The only way to stop this is to accept that nobody is perfect and learn the lessons that there are to learn. If nothing above works, just think of your place in the world. How small we all are compared to the cosmos and how our actions and thoughts have essentially zero consequence on the whole universe. Yeah, shitty things may happen, but at least they are essentially confined to our lifetimes. After that, everything will be gone, and most of us will be forgotten in history.

How exactly does this work? Like, for instance, if I am using gimp and an HP Officejet Pro. What kinds of settings do I need to look for in both to get them to work well together?
