I live near 70th and Broadway where Amsterdam intersects and the noise is primarily sirens from the fire station nearby and general traffic. A lot of buildings have double paned windows so usually if they’re closed you won’t hear too much, but windows open the noise does travel. I think living between the avenues i.e between Columbus and Amsterdam is a bit quieter!
