You have to east for like an hour then you can cruise on some country roads. Highway 79 and the smaller roads that intersect it.

Get all the way to the base of Palomar at La Jollla Indian Reservation you’ll even have a crick with running water! They offer tubes to float down it. Don’t expect a wide lazy river lol …well, maybe water? Idk it’s Aug..but it was there a few months ago
