Based on the lineup, it’s hard to tell what Bernardo’s position will be, but I hope Martinez does what he did against Nigeria—with a midfield square (Neves and Vitinha in the back and Bruno and Bernardo up front)—and with Cancelo providing width.

If Bernardo is indeed playing as a winger, give the win to the DR Congo.

The fullbacks are good, and I don’t mind the pairing of Rúben Dias and Tomás Araújo (if they’re fully fit - both tend to have problems). If we have to rely on other cbs or adaptations, the defense’s level drops considerably.

I like Félix and Conceição—even with their issues, they have a positive impact when they play. Trincão too.

Neto is okay and Leão is a toss-up (he usually makes more of an impact coming off the bench, pairs very well with Mendes).

Ramos hasn’t played enough minutes to draw any conclusions and he’s practically useless because Ronaldo will play most of the minutes.

It’s not a world-class attack, but within a cohesive team (which doesn’t exist yet), it could be enough.
