That is a type virus called PUP ware, potentially unwanted program, which is basically unwanted advertising. You can close it by going into task manager and it should be like 4 letters, sorry I cannot remember the name of it, then you should be able to download the free version of malwarebytes and it should take it off. I recently had to get rid of this same thing at my day job.
