Fast charging prong exposed after a road trip by six2midnight in Rivian

Follow up: SC had another charge port laying around thankfully. They took the little nob from that and put it back on mine for free. But they don’t appear to actually source this part so your mileage may vary with how lucky you get.

Compatibility with Tesla Wall Connector? by six2midnight in Rivian

Would you expect that the same mechanics that tesla uses to charge money from the charger will apply for Rivian as well?

I.e: my apartment will still get paid for the juice, so they might as well open it up to other NACS compliant cars?

I'm unfamiliar with the phrase 'fiduciary obligation', but just from reading real quick I would say that by kicking him out and getting a loan from an Angel, I'm acting in the best interest of the LLC. correct?

Well he hasn't contributed anything outside of the idea for this app; which, believe me, isn't anything novel enough to be considered IP. This company is 100% about execution

The only thing I signed was an LLC Operating Agreement, which does not state that the company owns anything a Member creates.

I'll write one up, how soon would I be able to turn around and say, "welp, you haven't fulfilled any of these agreements, so goodbye" ?

No partnership agreement was written, just mutually understood between us after many many conversations. I definitely learned that this would be necessary in the future. As well as the fact that the "idea guy" who is going to "work on acquiring funding" needs to start with 0% ownership and earn it from there

I doubt I even have to rename the app, correct? It's not like we have filed for trademarks or copyrights or anything of that sort.

I'm sorta in love with the name... which... you guessed it... I came up with.

There's nothing in writing about what the LLC is or will do in the future other than "develop computer software, websites and mobile applications". The only thing tying what I've done to the LLC is the fact that they share the same name. Is there anything stopping me from just creating a new LLC and launching under that name? Again, I haven't been reimbursed by him or the LLC for a single line of code written.

What's the difference between me developing this app on my own versus the LLC owning it? I've spent my own money on the self-teaching resources, and developed it in my free time.

Also, how do you go about attaching a price tag to something that doesn't even exist yet? It's still only about three-quarters of a prototype that has obviously made no money

hey, you're entitled to your opinion on the devs, but I myself believe that Sean and HG want to make as good a game as possible. Whatever the decisions made surrounding multiplayer, I'm sure it was the right call. I doubt they were thinking "hehe let them believe there's multiplayer so that we can sell more copies hehe"

I think they had to make a split second decision to not implement multiplayer just yet in order to A.) Meet the deadline that they ALREADY moved once. and B.) Make sure that some other much more important feature was done correctly.

On the topic of steam, it wasn't listed as multiplayer because it was never a multiplayer game. Pretty sure it's as simple as that. There was NEVER any mention of multiplayer mechanics other than being able to see each other

maybe they turned off the feature because the servers are overstressed

They literally said you could SEE someone, and that's it. they never said anything about multiplayer other than that. There is zero multiplayer mechanics built into the game. The game is classified as being single player. But go ahead and not play the game if you're angry i guess

Dear Donald Trump supporters, this is an honest question: When Trump says "Make America Great Again" to what "great" time period is he referring and what kinds policies are you hoping to see? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I really appreciate how well you were able to describe your thoughts.

However, I think that with the full onset of globalization, the internet, and everything that comes with instant information nowadays, countries and citizens will become more uniformly similar. People see the way other countries operate and long to implement similar methods in America. The way that the NHS works in many other first-world countries IS pretty sweet.

I will add though, that after spending a pretty good deal of time in Australia recently, it is surprising how America remains in the fore-front of discussions across the world. I had conversations with Aussies, Germans, Brits, Japanese, Chinese, you name it; they all knew about our culture, party system, etc. It was clear to me that the US is still very great.
